As America (and the world) almost rejoices Osama's Death, many people are saying Twitter let release of this new news. It started with the release by the White House (on Twitter) that Obama planned to address the US at 10:30 EST, and social networks trickled with possibilites. Then, Keith Urbahn, former chief of staff for the defense secretary, posted the message "So I'm told by a reputable person they have killed Osama Bin Laden. Hot damn." and the internet exploded. As you can see from the picture (in Mountain Standard Time), the the initial release by the president (on TV) caused a spike in Google RealTime activity, then the tweets piled on as the night grew later.
